Heard it on the radio. It’s most probably a joke, but a very clever one.
Football/soccer star Thierry Henry’s 2001 Renault commercial featured the viral strapline “Va va voom!”.

Henry was at the height of his career. The Renault Clio ad was a huge success. And “va va voom” made a splash and a half. It was so hot that even posh dictionaries couldn’t turn their posh noses up at it. “In one of more than 2,000 new inclusions in the 11th edition of the Concise Oxford Dictionary, published today (8 July 2004), the official definition of Henry’s favourite word is ‘the quality of being exciting, vigorous, or sexually attractive’.” (independent.co.uk)
The story goes that initially, Renault had considered this word…

…but then decided against it, because in English it could mean:
zero zero mile(s) per hour!
