想起文革期间，我爸跟另一位“知识分子” (synonymous with wicked, reprehensible characters) 一同被批斗，主持批斗会的人吼道：

“季某某、x某某，你们两个是一路之丘！”

我爸胸口挂着牌子，低着头，本来思绪遨游在天际，此刻咻地一声回到现实，先是一愣，大脑加急处理，下一秒就明白了，想笑但不敢笑。回家后告诉我妈。It made their day, as both of them had a wicked sense of humour.

那属于口误。

有时是故意为之，歪曲成/俗/谚语的意思，或略作篡改，产生幽默效果。例如：

英语有句谚语：Many a mickle makes a muckle. 聚沙成塔、积少成多。

这里要提到英国人 Anthony Blunt (1907-1983)，研究艺术史的，苏联间谍。

他是双性恋，喜社交，在剑桥的最后一学期，某大型派对上，有位朋友看到 Anthony 在沙发上跟一小伙子亲热。这位朋友回忆道：

Much later on, I wandered past again, and there was Anthony in exactly the same position, this time with the wife of a don at Jesus. Still later I was listening to Cab Calloway playing the piano, and in came Anthony looking for a drink. I said to him, ‘Aren’t you being a little fickle tonight?’ He put his finger up against his nose and said, ‘Many a fickle makes a fuckle!’
